Elkins, WV – AAUW Branch

Celebrating Our 60th Anniversary

Projects

The Elkins Branch of AAUW has been a positive force in Randolph County, West Virginia for six decades.  In its early years it supported the local public library; sponsored study groups, musical programs, and art exhibits; worked to bring educational television channels to the area; supported local women running for public office; gave an annual scholarship award to a Davis & Elkins College senior; and began a recycling program.

Branch members have continued to donate to AAUW’s national causes, especially the Educational Foundation and the Legal Advocacy Fund.
